To work as a nurse in the UK, the first eligibility criteria is to have a valid IELTS or OET score. Both the exams test English language capabilities of the applicant in the areas of Listening, Reading, Speaking and writing. The candidates often undergo training to prepare for the exam and hence incur a cost, which is later being reimbursed by the employer.

Finding a new home in an unknown country is a stressful task. But when it comes to NHS, your initial accommodation for about 1-3 months is taken care off. It allows you the time to settle down and explore your new city, familiarise yourself with the area and find a place to call home.
