Teaching Opportunities in USA as a part of their Cultural Exchange Program
The United States of America (USA), a dream destination for anyone to travel once in their lifetime; most favoured country for many students across the globe to pursue their education and a sought after diverse education system that any teacher wishes to be a part of!!
One of the initiatives of USA Government is the J-1 Exchange Visitor Visa Program under the Mutual Educational and Cultural Exchange Act (Fulbright–Hays Act of 1961) by the Department of State for school teachers outside USA. Cultural Exchange programs enhance socio-cultural know-how and instil wide spectrum of ideas, traditions and knowledge between citizens of the host country, the US in this case and citizens of other nations. Such opportunities make you view the world with a different lens. This provides alternative perspectives!
With this exchange program, the USA Government, aims to expand the horizons for its students through exposure brought in by teachers coming in from various parts of the world. Teachers, in turn gain experience of handling a diverse group of students while developing themselves personally and professionally. In addition to this, they experience high living standards, get compensated in a similar way as a local teacher would.
Global Placements has launched this opportunity for Indian teachers. Our teachers can now explore their possibility of participating in this unique initiative. We are actively accepting applications for the upcoming academic session.
