Secured Job Option

The overseas nurses who work with NHS are given an initial three year contract, providing a long term job security. Also you stand a chance to renew your contract at the end of term and in fact, few of the nurses have served for more than two terms.

Attractive Salary

NHS offers an impressive salary of Band 5 to all the overseas nurses, who have completed registration with Nursing and midwifery council.

Band 5 salary has the range of £24,907 to £30,615. Generally nurses with the experience of up to 2 years get the starting pay, whereas 3-5 years of experienced nurses can get £26,970. 

Converting the same into Indian Rupees will be roughly between 24 lakhs to 28 lakhs per annum.

Manageable work hours

Overseas nurses working in NHS will have a standard working week of 37.5 hours, allowing you to have a healthy work-life balance. However, if you choose to work extra hours, you will be rewarded with attractive overtime allowances.
